Christmas

Hope you had a Merry Christmas, we sure did, we had a fun filled busy Christmas! We started with Christmas Eve dinner with the Hastings family then went over to the Wright family annual Christmas Eve party, made it home around 1200 and still had some wrapping to do! Christmas morning was a lot of fun we did a small Christmas for eachother at our house then went to my parents for presents and breakfast. Then off to Grandma and Grandpa Wright's house, then to the Hastings for presents and lunch. We also went to see a movie with the Hastings family that night, we had lots of fun! I just realized we never got a photo op with the Hastings bunch :( String game: Wright fam Christmas Eve tradition, each child plays the string game, you have a gift at one end of the string that is hidden somewhere by all the adults. The string is lead all through the house, and even outside--- this year older boy cousins were so mean to my teenage cousin Billy that they lead his string a mile away into someone elses backyard! Its a lot of fun, it creates a huge maze through all other strings going through the house, you have to follow it and roll up the string as you go to find your present on the end of the string...so much fun! A tradition from my grandmother to make getting a small present on Christmas Eve a lot more fun. A tangled up mess! Bailey rolling as she goes... a present at the end...Hallee and Scott Christmas Eve concert...ever since we were little its been a tradition that all the kids play and sing christmas songs for everyone on christmas eve, here is our annual wright girls, and the real talent my bro in law Larry playing our christmas quartet Mattie & Luke Christmas Day: We did little fun presents for eachother this year, so I did a mini string game for Scott Christmas morning at our house to find a candy jar I got for his office and put ASC (his co.) on it vinyl lettering Scott got me a cute pink tennis raqutte, we love plaing it with other couples, Scott is really good but im still learning! At Grandma and Grandpas house: Aunt Julie, Uncle Mike & Dad Yeah for Christmas!!! Christmas morning at my mom and dads house Luke and Hallee Wright Family

San Diego, Hallelujah Chorus, and Merry Christmas!

We just got back from San Diego yesterday, we went on a fun little weekend get away that Scott surprised me with---and it was badly needed to unwind after the crazy busy weekend I had last week having a huge boutique at our house. We went with two other couples James and Natalie & Derek and Jessie--I got home and realized wow I really did just relax and do nothing because I didn't take one dang picture the whole time we were there! woops! Atleast we got one on a cell phone at the Del Coronado hotel in front of the 30ft Christmas tree! I'll have to get some pics from Natalie and post them later...anyway it was a blast.

We got home just in time (25 min) before I had to be at our stake Christmas program to play my viola for the hallelujah chorus, which was so beautiful, everyone in the audience sang the song as the orchestra played. The sound from the audience that large made me think Christ himself could be present if he wanted because the sound was so angelic.

I'm throwing in here that we hope everyone has a Very Merry Christmas. I'm still working on getting a picture for our Christmas cards so hopefully I'll get one out this year! Believe it or not this past weekend was set aside for Christmas cards but with the surprise trip I just didn't get to it and I'm afraid I wont now. Scott's is brother getting married this week we have lots to help out with not to mention the in-poor of orders Ive had for Christmas presents this past weekend! I know excuses, excuses but Merry Christmas in case I don't get to it before Christmas!

Puerto Rico

We went on vacation to San Juan Puerto Rico where we stayed in Dorado Puerto Rico just outside of San Juan. It was beautiful--a little sticky but mostly gorgeous. Becky and Shawn Hastings invited us to go with them, and we all had a blast. We went to Old San Juan where there is El Forte del Morro that was built 400 years ago in defence from England and Spain who tried to over take Puerto Rico, its really impressive I posted pics. We also went to El Yunque-the only nationally recognized rainforest in North America, where you guessed it we got rained on big time! We went golfing one day, hung out on the beach, played basketball, sand volleyball and tennis, and snorkeled too it was so beautiful outside. It was a blast and practically empty this time of yr since its the off season, we felt like we had the place to ourselves! Spanish was the language of choice but almost everywhere you went someone spoke English too--we highly reccommend it to any one thinking of checking out Puerto Rico some day!

Halloween

Hapy Autumn! We hope everyone had a fun Halloween. We went to a party at the Mazyck's home and dressed up as nurse/patient, we found the "hind sight" costume for Scott and couldn't pass it up, you'll see why below :) too funny. We also went to a scary movie at the drive ins with Jackie & Brandon and Molly & Spencer-by the way dont go see The Haunting of Molly Hartley seriously a waste of time, but we had fun at Molly's expense scaring her after since the main charaters name was Molly! We cant beleive its November already and still 95 degrees outside! Gotta love Az.

Just for clarification this is a fake but! :)
