A Post for Mom and Dad...Sunday Breakfast

I attempted to make a family favorite, Norma's wheat pancakes this morning. Scott and I, and Molly and Spencer used to sneak over on Sunday mornings to see if Norma was making her pancakes, and then invite ourselves to eat becasue we love her pancakes!! So this morning I finally attempted to make them, and thought mom and dad would enjoy a picture of the attempt. Note that we are missing the cut up fruit, home-made orange juice, and home-made syrup Norma always served! But I was proud of my attempt and wanted to let mom and dad in on a just an ounce of what we miss about them being gone! We love you!

The waiting game...

I am so ready to have this little guy, i cant wait to see what he looks like and Scott and I are both anxiuos to hold him. We almost went in last saturday, i was having contractions every 6 minutes from 10 pm to 4:45 am, but i was so tired because we had planted flowers all day so i kept trying to sleep so I would have energy to push once we went in---then they completely stopped, needless to say I didnt really sleep waking up every six minutes. Scott wishes we would've went in he is convinced they wouldve helped it along since I was having them that close for so long. But Dalton is ready any day now I was checked yesterday I'm completely effaced at a 3 and my doctor couldnt beleive how thin my cervix is. And he is really really low, my doctor said "that must be uncomfortable"--umm yeah. I think mentally I can let him come now since I finished working this week and started my maternity leave, and I took my final for school yesterday and turned in all my last essay for this course so I can relax! We cant wait, do me a favor pray for him to come, today, Ha!
