I should be unpacking

Were finally in our house but not quite all moved in essentials are out, but there is so much stuff {junk} in boxes still, i should be unpacking right now instead i am blog surfing getting my fix after a long two weeks without internet :) We love our home i will have to post before and after pictures, we're still toiling with what to do in the front yard desert land scape, and contemplating how to take down the massive 40 ft saguaro in the front yard, but inside is updated and the way we want it i just have lost my knack for decorating pregnant, these babies take all the creativity out of me so our walls are pretty bare...And my pregnant mind thinks i like the clean shabby chic look now instead of all my chunky ornate french English/tuscan type decor we already had in storage...who knows how ill decorate this house but I'm starting today :)

Things are going great, Dalton is busier than ever, I have to honestly say i think this age is the hardest for me! There is no reasoning with him, for example this morning he bite me on the cheek and drew blood because he couldnt have a drink of a random man's soda that he saw at the gas station...such is the life of "Terrible twos" that came early for my 19 month old, but i love him anyway. He is a lot of fun and one big ball of energy. he loves to swim, play basketball and hang out with dad. Scott rules his world, anytime Scott is leaving for errands or work Dalton says "I want to go" over and over. It's very sad when he has to stay behind when Scott goes to work.

Scott bought him a cute little kitten she is tiny she fits in the palm of one of my hands, i am hoping Dalton doesn't kill her before she grows up to be Scott's scorpion hunter in training. Scott keeps calling her names like Beast and Godzilla-real manly names like that to justify him buying a cat...a species he has always said he hated, but he treats that tiny kitten so good. If only Dalton could too, he calls her kitty and says "come here," she comes, then he turns and kicks her across the yard...and laughs! why are boys born with these innate tendencies? I am trying so hard to teach him and hope this is not a foreshadowing of what is to come with our TWO poor babies on the way :)

We found out we are having the lesser risk of twins we are so relieved and happy about that. They are scientifically called mono di twins, meaning they are identical twins with a membrane separating them so they cant touch, they share one placenta but have their own little fluid sac. Drs watch me closely for twin to twin transfusion, which our kind of babies get where one baby steals all the food and the other baby is tiny since they share one placenta, everything looks good so far! I am 14 weeks but certainly look like i did at 5 months pregnant with Dalton, its good to be pregnant with twins the second time around, i am not self-conscious about how big i get being pregnant anymore like i was with Dalton.

I am enjoying being a stay and home mom, i haven't been working now for a month and i love it!! After my long 60-70 hour weeks with 3 jobs, working hard saving and going through the loan process for our house, I am so so so happy to not work and enjoy life at home. I am so glad to have gone through that time, I learned a lot about sacrifice, but I'm so happy that phase of my life is over! I have no shame admitting i get to take a nap everyday with Dalton, I think i am still catching up after working day and night shifts combined for so long. I hope my sleep clock will return to normal before long working all those night shifts for the past 2 years really messed with my sleep cycle.

We still dont know what were having, we find out on the 17th, Drs tried to tell us last week but the babies were haivng so much fun starring at each other they woudnt move in position to tell us what they are! Little stinkers, my guess is girls though i feel different than i did wth dalton but it could just be that it is twins. Knowling me ill be stuck in a house full of 4 boys!

Now on to tackling the unpacking and Saturday cleaning!
